When your parents plan a vacation for the family, they might think it will be fun for you. But sometimes, it doesn't turn out that way. They probably won't ask or they assume the things you want to do. I think it's a good idea, to give your parents some suggestions what you like to do.

When my parents tell me we are going to a certain place, I like to look it up on my computer. That way I can see if there are good things to do. And when I find them, I write them down to show them.

I love looking at maps! I like to see what is around the place I will be staying at. So it gives me more ideas what we can do for fun. For example, when I looked at this map of Punta Mita - I saw a beach club, golf academy, the pier, snorkeling area, tennis, etc. I was able to show my parents and we talked about seeing a few of the places I found.
